COLLECTION, USE AND DISCLOSURE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
Types of Personal Information
The types of personal information that we collect or process from time to time in the course of operating our business and providing our products and services includes your name, physical address, telephone number, e-mail address, contact details, job function/title, financial, credit and billing information and other incidental information relating to the products or services we provide, feedback and survey responses, identification and other background verification data, employment history and other information relevant to potential recruitment or association to or with TC Transcontinental, website usage information, and other personal information provided to us.
Collection, Use and Disclosure
Personal information is collected namely through your voluntary disclosure, your use of our services or websites, your purchase of our products or services, your subscription to our publications, through our registration or subscription forms, by means of surveys, as part of any entry to a contest or other promotion, when you register for seminars or newsletters. Disclosure within TC Transcontinental
TC Transcontinental has operations namely in Canada, the United States, Latin America, the United Kingdom and New Zealand and, as such, any personal information that we collect may be shared with and processed by any entity within the TC Transcontinental group in order to better serve you or as otherwise necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy. We take reasonably necessary steps to ensure that your data is treated in an appropriate and secure manner and in accordance with this Privacy Policy, subject, however, to the legal requirements of the relevant foreign jurisdiction.

Disclosure in Business Transactions

Under certain circumstances and in accordance with applicable data protection laws, you may also have the right to object to our use of your personal information, to request the deletion of your personal information or restrict its use, to request a copy of the information you have provided to us to use for your own purposes, contest any automated decision made where this has a legal or similar significant effect and ask for it to be reconsidered, where we are processing personal information with consent, withdrawal of consent in the circumstances permitted by law, or to make a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. VIOLATION OR BREACH OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
In the event of a breach or an access violation, TC Transcontinental has put in place an access violation response plan and undertakes to react in accordance with applicable laws, in addition to communicating the details of the event directly by e-mail with the customers concerned who have provided their e-mail address. Those customers will be promptly informed of the exact scope and possible impacts of the violation.
UPDATES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
TC Transcontinental reserves the right to make changes to this Privacy Policy at any time. Any such changes will be posted on this page; in addition, if we make material changes to this Privacy Policy, such changes will be posted at least thirty (30) days prior to their effective date and customers who have provided us with their e-mail addresses will be notified directly by e-mail.
